If a bike passing you in the adjacent lane causes you to wreck........ well you shouldnt be in traffic. Happens all the time. They passed and the newbie lost control. Nothing we could have done. Someones desire to ride at a quicker pace does not trump the need to ride or pass safely. There is something they could have done...NOT pass in a turn. If you want to pass, do it safely, and in a straight section of road. Even at the track they will pull you out for unsafe passing...in any level. And this is street riding...extra care, respect, and consideration, needs to be had for everyone involved. The guy in the cbr stayed back to make sure he was ok and gave his statement to the rangers and he also tried to call Alex's mom to update her....its always tough when there's a new rider....i tried to tell him at 5 am that he should go home and rest.... he told me he was up since 2 am....so the fatuige from being tired didn't help either....but he's ok!!!!!and alive!!!!!!!!! Im glad to hear he is ok. --- Charlie don't surf! The Cake is a Lie! You're gonna love my nuts! Spoke with Alex's sister. He's okay. Nothing broken. Just some road rash and minor concussion. He was lucky. I'm delivering his bike to his sisters house now.

I'm very happy Alex will be O.K. The aftermath looked pretty bad.
I might be to old to cut the mustard, but I can still lick the jar. |

No m endorsement? Yikes. Glad he's OK because being there and seeing that I had my doubts. In my opinion and I was in front, they passed us safely in the opposite lane. Shit we where not even speeding!!!!
