Rear wheel noise? (vid inside)
Hey guys I need help in diagnosing this noise coming from the rear. I decided to clean the chain not too long ago and heard this sound. From what I remember the noise wasn't there last time i had the bike up (about a thousand miles ago for an oil change).

It doesn't sound like a loose chain? The sound seems to have a consistent pattern whether i spin it fast or slow. Bearing perhaps?

There definitely seems to be a playing card stuck between your spokes.

Always try the simple thing first... Does it make the noise when it's off the stand and rolling around? My money is on the stand just barely interfering with the bolts on the sprocket. It is absolutely not a chain or sprocket problem.

Check clearance between the sprocket bolts and the rear stand position.

Actually maybe not. I listened but didn't watch before... Didn't see you rattle the chain side to side...

530 chain on a 520 sprocket?

Problem solved! It was just the card on the spoke as the doc suggested! LOL

On a serious note, it was just the stand being too close to the sprocket and it was hitting it BangHead

I feel stupid now lol. oh well, glad it was nothing, whew! thanks guys!
