I'd love to see one of these with the engine, suspension, and brakes of the GSXR-750. Kind of like how the Street Triple is derived from the Daytona.

I agree. I don't like the swing arm that comes with the bike. The reviews have not been so great so far.

My thoughts exactly... that swingarm looks like it came off my old, first-gen SV650. The FZ09 with its radial mounted brakes, awesome looks, and decently adjustable suspension kills this bike for about the same price.

I like it. The new Naked bikes are not meant for the track, even though many commentators like to compare them to the Super Sport bikes. I think they are meant to be fun affordable motorcycles. You can buy two FZ-07s for the price of one Super Sport. So obviously concessions are made.

I might be to old to cut the mustard, but I can still lick the jar.

What up E!!!

The newest edition of Cycle World and Motorcyclist both have articles in there on the new GSX S750 and they do state that the engine is from the 2005 GSXR 750, but I agree, if they had used the same chassis, it would probably be an incredibly nimble machine. All GSXR's prior to the switch to Brembo brakes were suspect in that department, and this one will probably be no better with the Tokico's it comes with, but if a direct bolt on replacement of the current GSXR 750's Brembo's is a possibility, then we'd be in business.
The engine has been "re-tuned" for more midrange punch, like every other suspersport engine that has found it's way into a naked bike so it's putting out about 95 horses. Definitely capable of way more with that engine, but I still think it will be a blast to ride. They said it's got more punch than the FZ-07, but it costs considerable more, however it's supposedly not quite as good as the FZ-09, but I think that will remain to be seen once they're directly compared via a ride comparison.

RE: New 2015 Suzuki GSX-S750
Unfortunately the GSX750 does not come with radially mounted brakes, so if you want to upgrade, you might be looking at needing new forks.

If you get the FZ09, sounds like you will definitely be needing new suspension.

Here is a comparo for y'all

Since the GSX-S750 is so much like the R750, I wonder if you can just swap in a complete front end from a GSX-R750 and be done with it?
