I got a set of the Shinko Apex 010 tires i have been eyeing for a while. Just got back from red rock a few hours ago and I have to say, I am quite impressed! only 40 or so miles on them thus far and even during the scuff in, not a single bit of slip. Super smooth and very grippy. Not as quick of a turn-in as I was hoping for but not a slouch either - comparable to the pilot powers that came off the bike. I will likely do a write-up or review on them here once i have a few more miles on them. So far a MUCH smoother ride than the pilots and FAR better feedback. tread life is my big concern with them right now but they feel quite a bit more stable in the corners than the pilots did (but the pilots were pretty worn). a bit heavy and more stiff compared to the pilots though, but fine for street riding. Im not sure how good of a track tire it will make but we will have to see.

what's the speed limit through there and what pace do yall carry through the scenic loop, just google mapped it and i may check this out during the day.
