RE: Finally! 8 Sec Quarter Mile
Thought I would share,

Just back from Test-n-Tune on Sunday on 1/27/13 and despite the wind I was able to better my best time. NEW personal best of 8.86 sec with a 60' of 1.47 sec. This is a daily driven - all motor - Hayabusa. Here is the link to the video and no, I wasn't trying to give him a headstart it just kinda worked out that way. http://youtu.be/y7h8hyCCY3g

The first 15 seconds were very anti-climactic. I was like "Oh YEAH baby!!! Wait... he's just pulling up..."

That's pretty awesomeful. Now you need to come out to red rock! Just for kicks!

That was awesome... noticed that your trap went down quite a bit, though. What was your 60' on the October run?

Thanks Doc! I do need to get out and ride more, hopefully soon.

The 60' in Oct was 1.532 sec compared to a 1.477 on Sunday. Now some say that because your 60' was quicker at a lower speed the top end will suffer (makes sense) but almost -8 mph is too much. I believe I am on the edge of the injector's capacity and I'm leaning out a little in the colder weather. We also had hurricane winds out there and I'm not sure of the direction of the winds once you pass the stands, just pass the 1/8 mile. I feel if I could have reached 158 mph again I may have gone into the 8.6 sec range.

Steve - we may need to do some more dyno testing!
