I my personal opinion going up there on bikes is a huge mistake. If our going to do it You won't make it past the rock garden. I personal witnessed 10 plus jeeps turn around today. They received almost a foot of snow and you can't see where any of the rocks or pot holes are. Also the snow has been packed enough to freeze over into perfect ice. You can't walk up even the mildest hill let alone drive/ride. I can see maybe playin around on the first couple miles until you actually hit the snow but after that its over.
Challenge accepted!

Likely will go up, mess around a touch, then head out and maybe check out libel canyon (truck around)

Patrick, you locked into that rental? If so, and your not keen on rocky gap, let me know and I can take ya elsewhere that isn't snow covered... We can discuss at Dunkin donuts.

OK, after a painful re-evaluation of the situation and a realization that the ground is newly wet, Im going to call a no-go at least for myself an Jamie. I want to go but Jamie wants to and frankly I would prefer that she still have that desire afterwards instead of scaring her off with snow.

Thinking about this, I would highly recommend against it for the new comers to dirt bikes. This actually makes for a potentially very dangerous situation especially if there is packed snow/ice under fresh snow...

so out on this but may be riding elsewhere. if you are interested txt me. 720-281-3738.

I'm still in for this...
