Rider down.... ME!

So last night I was hanging out with friends on Sunset and Pecos. I left and went down Sunset to get on the 215. The on-ramp, as you know is already a super tight super-slippery piece of shit, but apparently there was sand in it last night, and so I decided I wanted to go motorcycle-bowling.



I was already set up and off of the bike, so when it went out from me I basically just sat down. No helmet touching, but I did jam my knee, which is a little sore today. But check out the bad-ass scar I got! I think I might even need a Spongebob band-aid!



Overall it's not that bad. The pipe got dinged, but whatever. The fairing got just a little brush, but Justin says it's so light it will buff out. The frame sliders rocked hard! Granted, it's ground down to all hell, but hey, it sure did its job.

I'm in class right now, but I'll post up more pics later.

Damn... that on-ramp IS a super-slippery piece of shit. I usually remember that after I've already committed to an ass-puckering ride though that turn. Glad your OK and I've got some extra Harry Potter band-aids if you need some.
