bike painted?

Brutale Rider, what side of town are you on. I'll be buying some race bodywork and will need it painted. I wanted to try it myself but I don't have access to a paint booth. I've got a 33 gallon Craftsman air compressor that I can load in my truck and bring with my plastics whenever I finally buy them.

Im in summerlin, sort of... cheyenne and Ft. Apache, about 10 minutes north of RR casino. I dont have a paint booth either, however if you are cautious and take your time, dust is not really an issue. Just dont let the EPA know. lol. Just make sure you wet down your surroundings and are quick with the transition from tack cloth to spray and you are usually fine. Often I will have straight air in one hand and the paint in another for that extra bit of dust protection. The color coats set up in no time (literally a few minutes) and then anything in the clear can generally be cut down and buffed out.

I am always willing to help out. dont want to make a business out of it but if I can help, I most certainly will. I have painted in the vicinity of 15-20 bikes (from sport bikes to cruisers - made a pretty good side-living off it) and all came out with great finishes. Everything from single stage gloss, satin and flat to base/clear and pearls and candy paint. I know my way around an airbrush pretty good too, but I try to avoid any freehand airbrush work as I just dont have that much time under my belt there, but things like masked graphics with shadows or even cooler things like water drops I can do.

Here are a few examples of just messing around with some rattle can... I'll have to scan in the other photos of the actual bikes ive done, but this will give you and idea. this was just messin around one afternoon on some old helmets to see what I could do.

Maybe an hour into each not counting dry time between coats.. Messin around. I do that alot.
