Wreck on Robindale & Tenaya
Drove past it tonight. Silver Ducati Monster into the left rear quarter/bumper of a small SUV that turned left in front of him/her. Not sure the condition of the rider. The bike was on its side sitting half way up on the curb against a light post, headlight still on, and all emergency vehicles still on scene minus ambulance. Hope rider lives to ride another day.
Be safe out there everyone. Ride smart and ride protected. Work Smarter, Not Harder. |

"cyclist" usually means pedal cycles and im OK with them going away (not that I wish injury on anyone - they just need to stop, LOL) And yes, this is getting ridiculous, but I still maintain that the majority of the accidents and fatals could have been avoided by some rider intervention/common sense. Mainly slowing down and/or some situational awareness. There are some that ya just cant do shit about, but MOST you can. Hope the rider is OK. - Justin "You were taking it easy right? RE: Wreck on Robindale & Tenaya
I'm relative sure that it is pretty universally accepted that cyclist refers to bicycles... AKA: A-HOLES that think they don't have to abide by the same rules as everyone else whilst chastising everyone else that break those same rules on the road - for the most part with very few exceptions.
Thus, I prefer the distinction to avoid association. dick. - J "You were taking it easy right? Because I could keep up with you and from what I understand, I shouldn't be able to do that..." - Ken "No Neck" |

Sad panda. Reminds me of what my MSF instructor said. Something along the lines of 'It's always the motorcyclist's fault, even if they were in the right, for not expecting the other person to try to kill them.'
Ride safe, with proper gear, and absolutely paranoid that everyone is out to get you. "250 is like the honey badger, it doesn't give a shit" 906+ years and still going! **2013-2016 Secretary** |
