Cyclegear is having a mad sale on suits. The Bilt brand and the Sedici brand one piece suits are on sale for $300.

RE: Track leather?
I really love Sedici. The great thing about both Sedici and Bilt is that they're Cycle Gear's brand, and they come with a life-time warranty. I've had a thread come loose, taken it in, and swapped it for a brand new jacket before. Awesome.

RE: Track leather?
Look up crashes with Built or Sedici suits.... It could look like a million bucks but if you have a get off and all the seems blow apart I'm sure you would have saved and bought a QUALITY made suit. I know it's a lot of money to spend on a name brand suit $800-$2000 but $300 is still a lot of money to spend and if your spending your hard earned money on substandard gear than that's just money down the tubes and leaving your personal safety/protection up to a gamble.
Save the dough and buy what you want don't settle because you may have regrets. Check out this article: http://motostrano.blogspot.com/2011/10/h...t.html?m=1 You get what you pay for and I don't care how good the warranty is if it dont work when you need it who gives a shit |

I will agree to a certain extent. I looked at all sorts of brands. From a* to custom leathers and I settled on a $150 frank Thomas suit from cycle gear. I tested it at 50 mph at LVMS. And didnt bust a single stitch. Another one in our group went down that day at 120 and burned a hole right through his a-star pants. Bottom line is don't scrimp when it comes to protection. But just because it's super cheap doesn't mean it won't protect you. And just because a suit is $1000 doesn't mean your invincible. Eventually I will purchase a better suit but for now, my suit proved itself and to me, is worth it weight in good. Work Smarter, Not Harder. |

RE: Track leather?
I purchased my AStars 1 piece suit from cycle gear it was a previous year model during a closeout sale and I had a one time 10-15% off coupon that use to come in the CG mailer. I did not want to spend $1k on a suit, so I saved my money and shopped around until the right suit for the right price appeared. I ended up with a $1k suit for just under $500.
There are good suits out there for reasonable prices. Just got to find them. Spend your money wisely. Good luck P.S. Good info >>>>http://motostrano.blogspot.com/2011/10/h...t.html?m=1 |

RE: Track leather?
Just found this one on motorcyclegear.com. AGV makes some good stuff and the reviews are positive. A $700 suit (that compares favorably to a $1200 one) for $349 is a smokin' deal.
