Throttle lock
Anyone know of a local store that sells Throttlemeisters? Actually I think this kind would work as well, might cruise around and hit a few shops see if they have it (kuryakyn Universal Econo-Throttle Assist ).

Going on a 650 ish mile trip next weekend and I have a type of throttle lock I use on my zx-10r that doesn't work so well on my Monster 1200s. It kind of sandwiches my hand between the lock and bar end mirror and gives me a bit of lack of control there.

I have a friend with a throttlemeister on his panigale and it is a bar end type. I would probably remove a mirror for the trip and use one like that but he's out of town and I'm not sure if there are any places in town that sell these?

Thanks guys, if not I will try to get one shipped asap next week.

Kris

RE: Throttle lock
Good luck. Cycle Gear does not have them so I doubt anyone else would. I have Amazon Prime membership and can get it shipped 2 day for free. It would be about $30 shipped and could be here Tuesday if ordered today. If you need help out gettong one on time that is.

This is the part correct? Kuryakyn 6218

RE: Throttle lock
Cycle gear does have them.. I bought one there 3 months ago for a trip to LA. They sell out fairly quick there. But they are like $45.

RE: Throttle lock
Ok thanks I will look around today, now that I look again I don't think I have room to put that kind in and might have to do the bar end kind.
