Performance of what is the same? If your talking stock shock and forks to aftermarket, NO! There is a huge difference! There are minimal differences between the different manufacturers and their suspension products! If youre racing on a club level, you wouldnt be able to tell the difference between brand A and brand B, only the guy setting up your suspension would notice. IF you are on a budget, Valve and spring the stock forks or go the next step and have drop ins installed. Rear shock, I would go Race Tech or the next step would be Penske. Ohlins is a great brand, its just not typically in a racers budget!
