RE: Sunday 12/28/14 Red Rock Ride
What gloves do you guys use when it gets cold like this? My cycle gear water proof gloves aren't cutting it below 40 degrees. It's fine for about 15 mins, but starts to get cold soon after. Don't know if it's just the gloves or might need to upgrade to heated grips

Just some cheap ass Bilt gloves I picked up at Cycle Gear.
I want heated gloves, but I'm to cheap to buy them I might be to old to cut the mustard, but I can still lick the jar. |

RE: Sunday 12/28/14 Red Rock Ride
Gerbing's heated gloves.
If I can put in my $.02 though, go with the Cycle Gear Hotwired ones, which, I assume like everything sold under their brand, gives you the lifetime warranty and replacements. Gerbing's has a lifetime warranty on the heating elements, but you have to ship them to Iowa or wherever the hell they are. Which means you'll be without them for 2+ weeks. With Cycle Gear's you just walk in and walk out with a brand new set if they ever break. "250 is like the honey badger, it doesn't give a shit" 906+ years and still going! **2013-2016 Secretary** |

I have bilt ones too and below 40 they're no good after about 10 mins or so.. I might just have to wait out this cold spell... Hopefully it'll warm up in January (or at least be above 40's lol). I dug them out of a bin full of glove on discount. That's how cheap I am. I might be to old to cut the mustard, but I can still lick the jar. |

A piece of cake to hook wire to battery. I ran mine up between gas tank and seat. Mine work great. Last night in that freezing wind, I sat at a stop light toasty warm, while the dude next to me was fondling his engine with his hands trying to thaw out. They work even better on long trips. |

Doug I think we have the same gloves, I got mine from the same bin lol (a couple years ago though). Those Sedici gloves do sound tempting..
