Information Short Notice - Sunday 2/17/2013 Mt. Charleston Ride
SUNDAY! SUNDAY! SUNDAY!
For those of you that want to do something other than red rock (damn you doug for beating me to posting a ride!)


When:
Sunday, Feb 17, Meet at 9:30 am, KSU at 10:00am!

Where:
Meet up at the Albersons Express Gas Station at Farm & Durango (95 North, exit Durango, turn right, first light is farm, North East corner of intersection).

Route:
95 North to Kyle Canyon, take that up to the Lee Canyon turn off, and follow that all the way around back to 95 and then back into town.

Rules:
1. Dont be stupid
2. Dont crash
3. Dont be stupid
4. wear proper gear
and finally,
5. have fun!
6. Dont be a sissy with the cold... coldest it should be is 44 up there about the time we get there.

I will be riding Maggie and bringing Jamie with me so this will be a nice leisurely ride.

(yeah yeah, i know, short notice. Deal with it!)

I was actually genuinely surprised the roads were spotless. Looks like NDOT is using mag-chloride instead of gravel. There was a ton of residue from it. Amazing how green everything was too. Was used to the brown/tan of everything around here so was a nice change of scenery. All but one of the pull outs was open too so that was nice.

May do this again next Friday!
