Driving Directions

West Charleston Blvd (State Route 159) is the most direct route to Red Rock Canyon from the “Strip” however there are a series of signals and traffic can be slow. You should allow 25 minutes drive time from the “Strip.” Area Map

Fees and Annual Passes

Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area began collecting fees in 1998. America the Beautiful Pass, which replaced the National Parks Pass, Golden Age, Golden Access and Golden Eagle began sales in 2007. As you travel around the 13-Mile Scenic Drive, your fees are evident in interpretive and educational programs for visitors and school groups, well-maintained roads, interpretive trail signs, restful picnic areas, clean restrooms and trash receptacles. Preservation of critical habitat for desert tortoises, wild horse and burro protection, cultural resource preservation, trail maintenance and repair, and law enforcement to help maintain a safe place for your family to recreate are also supported by amenity fees.

Below is a list of all passes that are available at the Red Rock Canyon entrance station:

Daily Fee – $7 – Daily pass for automobiles to Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area. Motorcycles, Bicycles and Pedestrians pay a lesser daily fee.

Red Rock Annual Pass – $30 – Yearly pass for Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area.

America the Beautiful Annual Pass – $80 – The America the Beautiful pass is an interagency pass that will be honored by the Bureau of Land Management, National Park Service, U.S. Forest Service, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and Bureau of Reclamation.

America the Beautiful Senior Pass – $10 – This is a lifetime pass for U.S. Citizens who are 62 years old or older, and is honored at all the federal fee areas listed above. Pass also provides a 50% discount on campground fees.

America the Beautiful Access Pass – No Charge – This is a lifetime pass for U.S. Citizens with a permanent disability, and is honored at all the federal fee areas listed above. Pass also provides a 50% discount on campground fees.

America the Beautiful Military Annual Pass – No Charge – This is an annual pass available for a limited time to active duty military and their dependents. It is honored at all the federal fee areas listed above.
