I replaced my truck with a new 2013 jeep wrangled unlimited, ill be picking it up Monday or Tuesday , I got a 4" lift and 35" tires and blacked out rims being put on.

Last time I was there everyone without a plate(quads) got a 100 dollar ticket. Someone should go up there and scout things out. This is Not an easy trail you can get hurt real easy on this one. Took the Klr 650 up with the wife and after I dumped a couple of times up the switchback, she had to help me push it through certain areas. We went up again on the Sport 400(Polaris) and had no problems but we were on the Sport 400 so.....

When were you there last ?
This trail changes every year...and I plan to go check it out beforehand.

But, we only have to go as far as we want to go.
We are always free to make a judgement call and stop/turn back if it gets too uncomfortable.

As for plates...
All the information I have points to not needing plates while ON the trail.
Meaning, off paved road.
I'll see about calling to find out about this.
