RE: Motoyard Track Day/ MotoWestGP Season Opener MARCH 8th (Big Track)
We are extremely excited to announce that Moto West Grand Prix has now posted the entry form for our March 9th-10th season opener! The rulebook for 2013 along with class structures and membership forms are also available on the MWGP website: http://www.MotoWestGP.com

Moto West Grand Prix series will alternate between the famous 2.5 mile Big Track and the Streets of Willow going in both clockwise and counter-clockwise directions making it fun and exciting for all of the racers. We already have over 250 racers who have reserved their numbers for this season. Please fill out your membership paperwork as soon as possible to lock in your race number for the season because they are on a first come first serve basis. Memberships are only $100, which is the most affordable licensing fee of any series in the Southwest that runs the full spectrum of sport bikes. Moto West GP offers reciprocity to almost every established race organization as well. If you currently hold a race license with another club or race series, you would not be required to complete our new racer school.

MWGP offers a variety of classes for various skill levels and motorcycles. Run What Ya Brung class is designed for minimal track-day style preparation and no serious commitment. Bracket racing allows for racers to compete against riders that lap at a similar pace rather than grouping based on the motorcycle they are riding. At the other end of the spectrum we have Formula 1 (heavyweight bikes) as out absolute premiere class which will offer substantial cash payouts as well as our support premiere class, Formula 2 (middleweight bikes), which will also offer considerable cash payouts. Both classes are anticipated to draw the top talent from all over to compete in close racing action. Some racers have already confirmed their participation from Mexico's Racing Bike Capital series and a group of at least three riders are confirmed (Justin Knapik - Western Canadian Expert Superbike Champion, Scott Paras - Western Canadian Intermediate Superbike Champion, and Dave Thorne) to come all the way from Canada's Edmonton Motorcycle Racing Association (over 1700 miles away)! We're working hard to make our series the best it can be and look forward to having an exceptional group of racers throughout the entire season.

***** A bit of a teaser, but we will shortly have a press release out with details about all of our contracted tire vendors for the series. Note there will be multiple vendors! *****
