MotoGP 2012
This one is wide open. After Lorenzo and Stoner each took a spill in the last two races, Dani Pedrosa now finds himself in the hunt for the championship. This is going to come down to the final race. Stoner has not looked all that impressive. Nor has Lorenzo.

RE: MotoGP 2012
I'm not really sure. I'm pretty sure there has to be some sports book that does. From what I understand you can bet on pretty much anything here in Vegas.

RE: MotoGP 2012
If you go to the sports book in Mandalay Bay you can bet on two kids playing wiffle ball in Minnesota... but seriously, I don't know.

I'm curious to see how the season turns out. I agree. It seems like Lorenzo just isnt as sharp as he should be. Neither is Stoner. Stoner used to dominate races. Now he will only lead a handful of laps each race. Spies and Hayden have consistently been moving up the board over the last 2 races. Let's see what Laguna Seca has in store. RE: MotoGP 2012
I used to feel like lorenzo was like a snake and he would be patient and strike after reading is opponent... it seems like he's fighting and not as strategic as before.... heck yeah..i agree man...i glad to see hayden doing better....i just wish he would hold his position better....but at least we can always count on seeing a battle when the camera goes to.him.stoner got good fast and it like he hit a plataeu.. it seemed like he was goin to just snatch the spot from lorenzo. but I'm not sure anymore. .its like someone put out the fire under his ass or something?

RE: MotoGP 2012
I will say this. Since Stoner announced his retirement he just hasn't been that dominant. He may just be in survival mode
With the circuit coming stateside, I'm curious to if any MotoGP teams are going to invite some AMA riders a test ride/rider evaluations. Elena Myers rode a few test laps last year at Indy on the Rizla Suzuki and Josh Hayes actually filled in for one of the riders that broke their hand. Dont remember which one he filled in for but he finished 12th which i think is totally respectable for your first time. Work Smarter, Not Harder. |

RE: MotoGP 2012
*********SPOILER ALERT*************
US Grand Prix 2012 Results below. This race was pretty good however I was a bit dissapointed in the way it played out. By the time we were half way into the race there, everyone was so spaced out that there was very little passing. Once Stoner passed Lorenzo for the lead, it was lights out. It really looked like Stoner was in the zone. He let lorezo know he was there then picked the right spot to pass him for the lead and hold it the rest of the race. Spies looked good and the were several CRT team that weren't even a factor. Collin Edwards was one of them. If your not sure what CRT means, google it. Pretty interesting stuff. Either way, it looks like its still a 3-way battle for the championship. Work Smarter, Not Harder. |

RE: MotoGP 2012
So Jonathon Rae filling in for Casey Stoner yet again. I just barely had chance to watch the first lap from Aragon. Jonny Rae Qualified 7th. Impressive. For those that don't know, Jonny Rae is a regular for Honda in the WSBK series. Going to be interesting to see if he ends up on a MotoGP bike next year.
