RE: Mirrors or not....?
Might be too late to add my two cents but I just grabbed some from Cyclegear they had some for 25 bucks each bar end and they work GREAT, no joke. totally flexible and you can tighten or loosen them up and bend them all over.

I am not getting any vibration which is amazing on the monster 1200s the stock mirrors were shaking like mad. It pushes them out far enough to see both behind and next to me. They had lots left at the east store, not sure about big store.

Let me try and see if I can post before and after pic here or not.

Can't figure it out maybe just try the link I guess, not sure how to get the img to function right in preview.

I got a homie that has those same ones...their pretty cool and useful I just never really liked how bar end mirrors look on the bike. I'm getting better at not trusting my mirrors so much because I did notice the magnification on them is crazy. It will look like a car is 10 miles away, I shoulder check and it's like 3 feet away lol

I just feel that by actually looking, you have a complete understanding of where everybody is versus just checking the mirrors, and there's no blind spot when you actually look over your shoulder. When I'm stopped at traffic lights or stop signs, I use the mirrors also to make sure I'm not about to be rear ended. With the increase in distracted driving accidents, I'd rather have larger mirrors that are functional, than the smaller ones that basically serve no purpose other than "just" keeping me legal. There's actually an article in the newest Sport Rider magazine that talks about this very subject...*using mirrors*

I'm always watching traffic when I'm stopped but I'm usually not looking behind me if I'm not changing lanes...I should probably work on that lol
