HID retrofit review
Hey guys,
Thought it would be good to give you a review on the HID retrofit 'that guy' installed for me. For those interested, I got the kit to do it from http://www.theretrofitsource.com. First off, it looks bad ass, really makes the front very 'Tron' or 'Iron Man' looking with the LED halo around it. But even better than it looking as majestic as a unicorn sh*tting rainbows(seriously, Justin's paint and placement work were spot on and well done), is the fact that it is tons brighter than the stock headlight setup. I feel so much safer with this well-defined, super-clear, nice and big patch of light in front of me. tldr: If you do a lot of night riding, or just want to be seen more, get this mod done. And we all know cooler looking accessories add more horsepower, right guys? ..... guys? |

RE: HID retrofit review
I got the stage 1 kit including:
Mini D2S 2.0 Projector 5000K D2H Bulb 3Five 35W Amp Ballast Apollo 2.0 Full Round Shroud (W/centric) 100mm Xb LED Ring (Amber) H4 Cycle Harness (Single Output) I would really look at the size of your headlight, and if you have any questions about fitting, I would email them. They are really good about getting back to you and have felt with many motorcycle types, not just cars. |
