Finally! 8 Sec Quarter Mile

Hey Guys,

I thought I would just share a milestone that I finally reached. At Mid-night Mayhem last night (10/19/2012) I ran an 8.9 sec quarter mile. I want to thank Steve at Dyno Tech for all the help over the years and the excellent tuning that allowed me to reach my goal. CBR Rated and I finally raced at the track. It was our 3rd run and for some reason we both made some mistakes and we didn't do our best but it was fun any ways. My 3rd run I had a major wheelie starting about 40 ft off the line. I backed it down then hit it again and another wheelie started. That never happen before so I'll have to review the video to see what went wrong.

I can confirm that that busa in fact ran 8 sec 1/4 mi. Super sick machine! And yes I did awful lol. Real good to meet you sir.

Thank you, it was great meeting you and we both had some challenges on our 3rd pass but it happens, its all good...

Thanks Doug. It is my "daily" bike and I do ride it on the streets. I took it Cycle Gear and Vintage bike nights not too long ago. I just make a few adjustments at the track then change it back and ride it home.
