Exploring my new backyard; The Sierra Mountain Range
I took the day to explore what Northern Nevada has to offer. But before I began my adventure, I had to dig out my winter jacket that I had retired for the summer. This summit was less than 30 minutes from Downtown Reno.

Soaring above Incline Village with Lake Tahoe in the background.

Actually, I've ridden around Lake Tahoe before as I made a trip while I lived in Vegas. So this is the 2nd go around and I'm sure there will be many more.

Look how clear the water is.

Why don't you guys beat the heat and head north for the weekend?

Nice Pics. Kenny. Great area for motorcycle riding. Do 341 through Virginia City if you haven't already.

I might be to old to cut the mustard, but I can still lick the jar.

Rode it this weekend. What a fantastic ride, the road was in great condition. It reminded me of the Old Spiral Highway in Northern Idaho right outside of Lewiston. Just a short 20 minute ride up to Virginia City from Reno. The town itself is a huge tourist trap.

So many places to ride, it's truly heaven. You guys should seriously consider heading up north instead of heading to Utah as you always do each year.
