Catch Up

Hello all,

Some of you may remember me, I used to be a regular around here. Moved away from Vegas back in 2012, but try to log onto the forums every now and then. The forums look pretty desolate and I was just wondering the best way to keep in touch? Are there other platforms that are used more frequently than the forums?

Updates in my life:
I still have Donnie's 2006 Honda 1000rr (thanks to Freddy for taking me home after I crashed it in Red Rock and obliterated my collar bone. Dont worry, bike is repaired.) The bike has a blistering 6,587 miles on it. That should give you an indication as to the abysmal riding opportunities of my current location (great if you own a Harley, sportbike not so much). I sold the old 2002 Honda F4i back in 2016. Still with the wife. Over the next few months, we will start working remotely via our RV. As such, we will have the opportunity to visit Vegas on a regular basis.

Any big news that I may have missed? I know Warren (The really tall guy) passed away some time ago. Arson is the president. Holy fuck things went downhill fast! Any other news to report?

Is there anyone here who also enjoys working on cars? I have more than a few things that I need to do to my car ('86 BMW 635CSI), I have had parts sitting around for a couple years that need installed, but I neither have someone around to call 911 if the car happens to fall on me or a good place to work on it because I live in an apartment and management kinda frowns on people taking their cars apart in the parking lot.

So if anyone might want to help play around with an old car, especially if you might have a decent place to do so, that would be great and I would love to get some of this stuff done before it fully breaks on me. Bonus points if you might also have a car lift.

I hate to ask anything of the group since I'm still very new here but I have a pet who was just taken to the vet to check up on a problem and seems he needs to a few procedures done. I have created a crowd funding thing to help because of my own current situation, but I do not really use social media to spread it around much, if anyone would be able to share the link for the page on Facebook/Twitter/etc. to help with his vet stuff that alone would be amazing.

Hey, so does anybody have any advice for how to remove a couple hundred cubic feet of dirt and rock? It's not nice rock that I could just put on Craigslist. It's mostly crappy native dirt and rock.

In my backyard there are raised beds filled with this stuff, and I wanna get rid of it and put in soil to make a garden, now that I'm out of school and have some spare time.

The problem is I'm not sure what to DO with the damn stuff. Any ideas?

Any of you guys encountered something like this with Republic services before? Last trash pickup I noticed my trash can was moved like 200 feet from my house and I was curious to see who was doing it.. So I set my gopro to catch what's going on and this is what it recorded this morning:

Hey, so while on the way to work I hit heavy traffic. When it lightened up, going about 50 miles an hour, I kept two to three car lengths between me and the car in front of me just to be safe. This silver truck behind me began riding my ass and after about a minute he decided to drive in the shoulder in oder to cut me off, d.damn near splattering me on the road in the process... His license plate number is 458*ASU. If I call 311 will they actually file a report or do they not really give a crap?
