First time at the racetrack? Looking for a more controlled environment and a more relaxed session? The pace in Level 1 is slower than in Level 2 or Level 3, and inside passing is not allowed. The Level 1 group is closely monitored by the TrackXperience staff to ensure your safety. All Level 1 riders should consider taking part in our complimentary New Track Rider School, which has helped hundreds of riders achieve their riding goals and learn valuable skills. Our comprehensive educational approach along with friendly one-on-one coaching is the key.

If you have questions about gear and/or bike requirements there is plenty of other threads you can locate that information on or attend one of our rides and ask questions!

If bike transportation is an issue I am sure we can work something out, the members on here are very resourceful

So what's the cost of the gear? I know I can go the Bilt budget route and spend around $500 for everything, or I can go and spend a few grand on one of them fancy MotoGP replicas. So is the budget $200 bilt suit worth it, or will the wind blow it away?

I see they also offer tires. Can I show up on my regular street tires, and have them slap the race tires on for me, or do I need to do that myself? Then at the end of the day have them take the slicks off and throw on my regular street tires?

Do they provide food? Is lunch included in the entry ticket? I'll have my water situation squared away and just bring 10 gallons.

Cost of gas? Is there a gas station at the track? How much gas can a 300 go through in one day?

For the true race fans out there, the British Superbike Series in the UK is some of the best motorcycle road racing out there. Today my DVR caught the first race of the BSB season (which actually started back in April) on the Velocity channel. I actually have the DVR set to record "motorcycle racing". With that vague title, I get all kinds of motocross and other types of racing I'm not into, but I do get the BSB stuff, so if you don't have download access to the races, this is going to be the only way you'll ever get to see this series. Unfortunately they're not the full races as they're edited down a bit to fit them into an hour time slot (the Brits give you WAAAAY more behind the scenes info than Speed ever did) but if you aren't tracking the laps, you'll never notice. Definitely worth a look]]>
