So, a few weekends ago, That Guy and myself went on a dirt ride around Mt. Charleston.

When I got home, I noticed that the coolant reservoir had a big hole on its side, and the coolant was all gone...radiators were dry. I'm guessing the bike ran hot the last half of our ride.

I believe the cause was an incorrectly marked radiator cap.
It was marked as a 1.3 bar cap, but the spring on it seems softer than the stock one (1.1 bar).
So, I think it boiled over at too low of a temp, and managed to melt the hole on the plastic coolant reservoir...and melted the reservoir cap breather valve.

Anyway...new coolant reservoir/cap and an upgraded coolant pump just or kicks.

New and old reservoirs...

EXCELLENT! now lets take it back up and break it again this weekend!!!!

pretty massive difference on that impeller. Upgrades or did they change the design?

Saturday or Sunday?

Nice! Should flow a lot better. Wonder why the factory didn't do that from the beginning? Cheap Bastards!
