NOTE: if you don't have an off-road vehicle, get in touch with others that have 4x4's. Perhaps you can ride with them.
This is a double track off road trail that starts inside of the Red Rock loop and continues into the other side of the mountains into Lovell Canyon.
I believe it's just under 10 miles each way.
There are boulders on the road, so if your off-road vehicle has low clearance, it might be tricky. Generally, any stock off road vehicle should be able to make it.
Dual-sports and dirt bikes should have no problem. But do wear your gear as this is not simple hard packed dirt.
Bring your 4x4, dual sports, dirt bikes, ATVs, mountain bikes, or whatever else you want to use.
When: 9:00AM, Sunday, December 16, 2012
Where: Dunkin Donuts on Charleston (last stoplight on the way to Red Rock, on the right).
After Dunkin Donuts, we will head to the Red Rock loop.
The plan is to ride from the Red Rock side to the Lovell Canyon side, then turn back around and head back to the Red Rock side.
If you are trailering, you can park at the parking area just before we hit the dirt. There you can off-load and continue with the group.
Plates are not needed on the dirt section, so you can trailer your dirt bike/ATV there and be ok.
