Do any of you guys have good feedback or a price range on any shops for valve adjustment, I have a 06 636 with 18000 on her. I know I can call around but I want some good feedback, I normally do mechanical things myself but Im leaving this alone. Thanks for any feedback.

+1 on those shops!!! i took mine to steve at dynotech and it felt like a new bike when igot it back...i was in need for a valve adjustment.they were getting real tight.....and not that good tight either lol. i got the bike back real fast too
Your bike more than likely does not need any adjustment yet.
You could check the valves yourself fairly easily...if you are handy with basic tools.
If they need adjustment, then you could take it in.

I have read that 636 recommends at 15000 miles, but that is a recommendation I will look into checking the clearance myself because that is a good idea vs. spending money for no reason. Thanks for the info.

The manual does recommend to check them every 15k miles...
But, in practice, they almost never need adjustment that soon.
My 07 ZX-6R has around 42k miles and has never needed adjustment.
I last checked 2-3k ago and it was within the tolerance range.
By all means check it out yourself if you are handy with tools.
All you need is a feeler gauge (not the spark plug only ones) and some basic tools.
