Group Riding Video

And if you are planning on posting a ride, please be aware that you have a responsibility of organizing your ride by briefing the ride attendees on these basic points:

Destination and Basic Route information
Ride pace (and a ride your own ride statement)
Lead Rider/Sweep Rider identification
Hand Signals
What to do if someone is pulled over
How to ride in a staggered formation

Using Group riding formations and proper lane changing techniques is key to safety and fun..!

Even if you have been group riding for years it's fun to watch and catch up on the basics, after all it's all about safety.

Also, regarding gear:

Any ride SCS holds as a club or function, we ask/require that all attendees wear the basic gear listed below as a minimum:

1. Dot or Snell approved helmet
2. Shoes that cover the ankle.
3. Jeans or riding pants.
4. Gloves.
5. Jacket.

But of course, we cant make everyone do what they don't want to... hence why we have rules.. If anyone not conforming to these basic requirements want to ride, or show up to the meet with us, we will politely ask you not to join with our ride group and or to stay far behind us, as you are a liability riding with the group with no safety gear on.

We want every one to have a fun safe ride, and by making sure everything is handled before the ride starts, greatly increases the chances that we will have shit eating grins on our faces and all make it home at the end of the day!
Thanks for posting!
Is that how you ride in a group.
