Stator went out and killed the battery while it was at it.
The battery is covered under it's own warranty. And the stator is covered under extended warranty. But it took almost a week to get approval now the part won't be in until next week sometime.

sans battery, stator and reg/rec could be had for under $100 second hand and in a few days.
