Last Friday(July 4) I dropped my bike off at work and was stored inside for the duration I was gone(returned July 7) I picked up my bike let it warm up as usual then when into gear and bike stalled... Started again didn't even hold idle for 3 secs... After words gave it gas to prevent it from stalling after moving and dropping rpm bike stalled while in gear and has been every time I stop moving and also I can not start with clutch in and in gear I have to find neutral... BTW I have the kickstand safety sensor on my bike and most forums are saying that is what'd causing the problem because before when I was new to riding and stalled on take off I could grab clutch and start up but since then I haven't had the need to do it... This was months ago that I've stalled on take off... Someone help.... another note bike only has 12k miles on it
Well you should ride it every day then... Hahaha. What are the RPM's when it's sitting in neutral? Have you tried adjusting your idle speed?
its sitting around 1500 or lower... it wont even hold idle for 2 secs
Have you tried cranking them up to 2000 or so?
dont crank your idle up.... it is set where it is for a reason.
does the bike stall or does it shut off? there is a difference. If it was the kickstand switch, it would simply shut off. Stalling, I consider to be more of a mechanical restriction on the motor that causes it to die.

Well I guess it's just shutting off cause I can't start the bike with the kickstand up in gear...
ok yeah then that would be the kickstand switch. easy and relatively cheap fix. some are sensitive to moisture (the humidity has been fairly high recently) and also dust and can just become inop in either closed or open state. easy way to test is to bypass the switch (jump the 2 wires from the switch together) and then see if the bike will start/run.
It is designed so that it does not start or run while in gear AND kickstand down. this is a safety issue, so bypassing it will make it think that that kickstand is UP.

well now they think its a charging system issue cause of what the tech read that if its not holding a certain voltage with the bike running there is something wrong with that system.. also i forgot to mention that there is a very distinct low pitch noise that sounds like a woodpecker and im thinking it might a fuel system issue.
