just thought I'd share a cool poem a friend shared with me:
Riding is freedom in its purist form,
to chase the clouds which follow a storm,
to turn and glide, to the wheels that spin,
to feel the joy that swells within,
to leave the world with its troubles behind,
to know the warmth of a clear blue sky.
Then back home at the end of the day,
released from the tensions, which melted away.
Should my end come while I am in flight,
whether brightest day or darkest night,
spare me your pity and shrug off the pain,
secure in the thought I'd do it again.
For each of us was made to die,
and I know I was born to ride.
If you guys have any cool quotes or phrases about riding, I'd love to hear them. This one really stuck out to me, especially the ending.
