Bring $3 if you don't have a pass.
Wear proper apparel. Boots, jeans (no shorts), jacket, helmet, gloves.
DO NOT CRASH.
This is a Red Rock Ride not a Red Rock race.

I should have gone ! I went around Lake Mead instead and had a blowout around Rogers Spring and limped it the rest of the way to Overton. The tires were pretty stiff (only 200 miles on some new T30's) and at least didn't pop off the rim even though it chewed the tire up pretty good. I had to plug two half inch gashes (no clue what I hit) but it held air to get me back to Vegas ! I didn't see any rocks must have been something in the road that I didn't see but I was going pretty slow maybe 60.
Riding hard since 1981 ! - Old Honda 110, Yamaha 100, Suzuki TS 110, Yamaha 400, Yamaha FZR Genesis, Honda CBR 600F2, Honda CBR 1000F, Honda CBR 900RR - Current Kawasaki ZX10 R, Ducati M 1200 S Monster. Life may begin at 30, but it doesn't get real interesting until about 150... |
