Registering Dirtbike with the DMV?

I believe its the law now. Is it enforced? And if so do just take you're title to the DMV?

you have to get OHV on anything dirt, ATV and Dirtbike now. Buggies and the like also fall under this requirement.

passed and went into effect last june. If you purchased after July 1, 2012, you had to register right away. If you were/are a current owner, you had 1 year (July 1 2013) to register it.I havent registered mine as of current but will be doing so soon. My understanding is that it can only be done through a mail in system right now but it is handled by DMV but they will turn you to the website.
