Isnt it the same engine? Are they detuning it? I wonder what itll take to keep it like stock 1000rr power specs?

It is the same engine. I wouldn't say detune, just different tune. The power band on the R will be much shorter. Side by side you're talking fractions of a second, but top speed will suffer. Who wants to do 185 on a naked anyway!

RideNow on Boulder has 2 red FZ09s right now. I mean just like everyone else I want the black one, but they at least have 2 there. I sat on it. It's super comfy/minimalist. I like it even more now.

That thing is sexy as hell. Should be an absolute blast to ride. Lately, I've really been becoming more and more interested in a big 1000cc naked bike. I also like the looks of the Aprilia Tuono V4R
