Have both a 2001 TL1000R and RC-51 and the TLR is more comfortable to ride compared to the RC. The TLR has no steering head issues and even comes with a damper stock, have ridden this bike to salt lake city.

Well I know the TL-S was terrible. My Brutale was WAY more comfy than my TL and the Burtale was terrible. The R does look more comfy.

My RC isn't great at all. Certainly a "local" bike so I could see the TL-R being better.
