In Nevada anyway, state farm is the only company I am aware of that charges the rate EXCLUSIVELY off engine size (and driving history) and not by type. I actually pay slightly more on my insurance for my 30 year old 1100 metric cruiser than I do on my 02 RC51 for this reason. But all said and done, at state farm, with full coverage on my truck, RC51 and Magna, PLUS renters insurance (all in the mid-range, not minimums, not maximums) I'm paying $158/month and that's is with the increase due to a parking lot bump I had back in may.
