Hobbit HFR 3D Thursday 3rd Jan, 6:50pm Brenden Palms
I've been putting off going to see The Hobbit in full 3D high-frame rate glory until the Christmas/New Year festivities subside, so finally bought my ticket for tomorrow, Thursday 3rd Jan, to see the 6:50pm show at the Brenden Theater at the Palms. I think this is the only theater here to have Dolby 3D (that's the one with dichroic glasses, not the disposable polarized sort) and Dolby Atmos sound (64 channels). So come along for the ultimate Unexpected Journey!
It's a long film, nearly 3 hours, so I might be tempted to have a late night snack in the Palms café after. |

Ticket prices? Not sure about this one. One of my friends said the high frame rate version was a bit distracting and annoying. Might be in if it's not like $20.

I can't help thinking that such complaints have parallels with people who though that color was better left to the imagination!
