Greetings!
Hey all,
It's been a while since I have posted. Too long actually. Just thought I would jump back on the board and say hi to everyone. It's that time of year and I am missing the Vegas days and the SCS holiday events. For those of you that aren't aware I will try to fill you on what's gone on with me. Back in October of 2013, I wrecked at SMMR after some douche bag wrecked in front of me. Bought it back from the insurance. Got it running again with help from Steve. Then I get laid off a year later from work. Then I get a job with Spirit airlines in Houston. Moved to TX. Then I get shoved out of Spirit for reasons still unbeknownst to me. Now I am an Airframe and Power plant instructor at MIAT in Houston working 16 hours a day. Yes, 7am to 11pm. Longs ass days. Sold the bike back in March. And that about should bring everyone up to speed. Anyway, just dropping a line to give a shout out from Houston. Hopefully one day I will end up back in LAS and on two wheels with y'all. Life throws us a curve sometimes, and right now I'm just looking through the turn and trying to find the exit. Work Smarter, Not Harder. |

RE: Greetings!
Hey all. Been a while so dropping an update: I am now in Maintenance Management for United Airlines in............San Francisco of all places. Gotta commute from Houston for a while. No plans on moving to Cali. Shit is way expensive over here. Rent for 500 sq. ft. Studio is $2000/month.
And Bree is going to be 9 in two weeks! Crazy how quickly time goes by. Keep the shiny side up. Work Smarter, Not Harder. |

Lol, I remembered running into you on the ramp when we worked at LAS, when I worked for Sundance. If you want a change in scenery (Reno) I work for an OEM Service Center (Dassault). We are always looking for AMT's. I can give you more info about the pay and hours if you're interested. I thought I would hate Reno, I always had a negative vibe and view of the city. After moving here I absolutely love it! And it's still Nevada! With your qualifications you would be hired. You can high ball them, worse thing they can say is no. |
